Peanut Butter Products: A Salmonella Scare In The Philippines

On January 19, 2009 the Bureau of Food and Drug released an advisory for an immediate recall of selected peanut butter brands, peanut butter and peanut paste products in the Philippines that were already reported being recalled or withdrawn from the United State of America market for potential risk of Salmonella contamination.

WWF's Earth Hour: Switch Off Your Lights

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon urges citizens around the world to join WWF's Earth Hour to take serious action on climate change. This coming Saturday, March 28, 2009 is going to be "the largest demonstration of public concern about climate change ever attempted” according to the video-taped address by the Secretary-General.
