We all know that cooking takes out many essential nutrients and vitamins from the food. This will reduce the amount of beneficial nutrients that we need in our body in order for us to become healthy. A raw food is far more nutritious than cooked foods.
Eating raw foods or having raw food diet boosts your metabolism and help detoxify your body system. Detoxification is a process that cleanses the undesirable toxins that build up in our body due to, say for example, smoking, eating junk foods, drinking and other unhealthy substances we put inside our body, making our body polluted. These toxins will obstruct the normal operation of our body system and affects our liver, lungs, skin, kidneys and lymphatic system which are our own body detoxification system.
Having a raw food diet does not mean that you cannot eat cooked foods...you can, you only have to avoid processed foods which have preservatives and chemicals on it. If you into a raw food diet it is normal to experience headaches, you get tired easily and skin rashes, these are normal side effects.
Raw food diet generally a combination of fruits and vegetables. It is important that you incorporate fruits and vegetables in you diet that are high in fiber content. Fiber is very beneficial for our body. It helps flushing out the extraneous matter from our body keeping our digestive system smooth and clean.

I'm confused. I understand the benefits of a raw diet and am curious, but this doesn't make sense to me: "If you into a raw food diet it is normal to experience headaches, you get tired easily and skin rashes, these are normal side effects." Why would that be a fair trade?
the side effects are temporary and could be related to detoxing! after that, just get all the mineral and nutrients you need, especially B12, and you are golden!!
@Elements for life
thank you so much for the great explanation there.
Cheers
Raw foods have to be washed thoroughly because I got amoebic dysentery due to raw foods.
